It's been a while :)

Kids are keeping me busy with hockey and football.....practices/games....it is draining. Jonathan and Amarys are both playing flag football and Frank is coaching. They are 3-0. We had the most nerve wrecking experience the other day......let me tell you I have never wanted to ring a kids neck until the other day.....well I have thought about it, but not like this...lol.. j/k;)
So the kids are playing football, there is less than two minutes left in the game and Frank decides to switch out players, so the kids can all get equal time in the end of the game. The little boy he is swapping out does not want to sit out. The kid proceeds to run after the kid with the ball and klobbers him.....yes this is a flag football game.....ugh! We finally get the kid seated. The game is over....WE WIN, YAY......but the excitement is not over.

We head to the truck....everyone is in........we drive off.........and we hear a big CRACK .......what do you know....the kid that was pulled out of the game just threw a rock at the truck and ran away. OMG I couldn't beleive it.
So we back in to our parking spot and Frank gets off to track down this boy's mother....when he does, she immediately starts smacking and dragging the kid to the truck to see the damage. The entire time Frank is trying to calm the mother down and tell her the damage is not the issue....wait, it isn't?....j/k. Now we have a bigger problem with this mother smacking her kid around. Frank does not even point out the damage he tells the kid that he can not run around throwing rocks at his coach or anyone else for that matter....just because he does not like the way things play out....it was only fair that he let someone else have their time in the game, because he played the entire game. So now I have this ding on the side of my truck, but I sure don't want to bring it up, beause we don't want to see this little boy smacked around again.....ahhhh....some people in this world....it is obvious this mother and child have issues at home....I wish them the best.

Okay, on to some saweet news! Dominic played in a Madden 09 video game tournament tonight. There were 30 players, who came together from different Boys & Girls Clubs in AZ. My boy placed 1st....yup he was the champion! Yay Dominic!!! Okay you are probably thinking why the heck is this mother so excited about her son playing a video game? Dominic is a brainiac and has been all 11 years of his life....it is unlike him to let loose and participate in something like this!!! The first time he does....he comes out the champ!!!

I am off to bed now....we have an early morning tomorrow with a football tournament, and costume shopping.

Night.
